Stop the presses! Jon Snow has experienced “sexism” in Hollywood! World says, “Duh.”
Game of Thrones star Kit Harington is more than a pretty face with wildly great hair, y’all. And he’s tired of not being appreciated for his…brain? In a recent interview, the actor said he’s dealt with sexism in his own career.
“I like to think of myself as more than a head of hair or a set of looks,” Harrington told the Sunday times. “It’s demeaning. Yes, in some ways you could argue I’ve been employed for a look I have. But there’s a sexism that happens towards men.”
Many wonder is this unfair sexism, that’s been happening to women since the beginning of time will finally start a dialogue for men who have apparently been suffering in silence this entire time.
A famous actor who spoke to us only on the promise of complete anonymity had this to say. “Waaa. Poor Jon Snow. Quit why don’t you and get a job as a brain surgeon. Oh wait, you can’t.”
Many female actresses who have been claiming Hollywood has been like this for a while, had this to say.
“Now that this has happened to a man, I’m sure Congress will get involved and really do something about it.”
We spoke with a psychologist to help put this into perspective. He said, “Many out there can’t understand how tough it is for beautiful people. Life is full of trade-offs and just because someone is rich and famous and has women dropping at their feet, doesn’t mean that life is fair.”
In the meantime, women of Pakistan can rejoice in the fact that their husbands can only “lightly beat” them now.
